Different cream coloured coconut shell discs with a facial expression on one side and, on the other side, a suggested name for the expression. 

This is a natural coconut shell resource to encourage children to talk about different feelings and emotions. 

Each counter has an image of the emotion on one side with the descriptive word on the other.

These counters are a sustainable alternative to plastic.

Bury the emotions into dry sensory textures for the children to discover. Can they identify the emotion? Was there a time when they felt this way?

Use them alongside story telling. Can they pick out how the characters in the story feel? How would they feel if they were in the same situation?
